I cannot explain myself at the moment.
Here's part 1 of this experiment that I missed the deadline for last week:

Wow - great use of PU for percussion :-)  And dat noise

I totally see this being a rager at a very crowded show.  Your explanation is so mysterious, it almost makes the track more awesome.

Haha--the mysteriousness was really just due to total exhaustion smile But yeah, I can see how being mysterious about this stuff might play into the "is it AI or human?" ambiguity/hype. I'm OK with that as far as it goes, but also it's not really what I'm trying to be about with this. What I'm trying to do with this track (and last week's) is just incorporate some machine-generated stuff into more standard compositions, as I've been saying I want to do all along. So, these tracks are just LSDJ live mode (lots of improv/very little pre-determined structure) with a twist:  before jamming in live mode, I fed the chains/phrases into a neural net and got some output, then put the output back into the SAV file. So I'm riffing on combinations of pre-written and machine-generated stuff. I think this could get much more interesting in the future if I can improve the models and also just get more jazzed about / time for writing music. Thanks for the opportunity to explain smile

Love it! The main motif is catchy + awesome percs, energy and development. You da man!
